Shipping to the USA – Important Update on Duties & Taxes
We’re excited to let our U.S. dance family know that Dancewear For You will resume shipping to USA from 25th September 2025! 💃🕺
However, due to recent changes in U.S. import rules, there’s now a new step in the process when you place an order with us.
What’s Changing?
Previously, when you ordered dancewear from Australia, import duties and taxes were often collected on arrival in the USA. Under new regulations, U.S. law now requires that import duties and taxes are paid before your parcel is dispatched.
At the moment, these charges are not automatically added at checkout on our website. Instead, we’ve set up a simple process to make sure everything runs smoothly.
How It Works

Place your order as normal on our website – no duties or taxes are shown at checkout.

We’ll calculate the correct import duties & taxes for your parcel.

You’ll receive a separate invoice from us with the duties & taxes amount.

Once the invoice is paid, your order will be dispatched in line with our normal procedures and delivery times with tracked shipping.
