🚚 Shipping
Is Australian shipping really free?
Yes! We absorb the cost of standard shipping on all orders within Australia — no minimum spend required. If you need express shipping, simply select it at checkout.
How much does international shipping cost?
International shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on the weight of your order. Rates start from approximately $10 AUD and go up depending on destination and parcel weight. The more you buy, the better value your shipping becomes — discounts are automatically calculated at checkout on larger orders! For large international orders, we recommend emailing your shopping list to jacky@dancewearforyou.com.au for a custom shipping quote.
How long will delivery take?
Many popular styles and basics are held in stock in Perth and can be dispatched quickly. Some items may need to be sourced or produced after your order is confirmed — Jacky will always keep you updated on your order status. Just get in touch if you need an item by a specific date and we'll do our best to help!
Do you offer tracking?
Yes — all packages include tracking. We recommend keeping an eye on your parcel using the tracking details provided, as Dancewear For You is not responsible for monitoring tracking after dispatch. If your package is returned to us due to a missed delivery or failure to collect, re-shipping will be at your expense. Please note: shipping fees are non-refundable.
Should I add insurance to my order?
Insurance is your choice! Every effort is made to ship items securely with tracking, but we strongly recommend adding insurance on orders over $200. This option is available at checkout.
📦 Returns & Exchanges
What is your returns & exchanges policy?
You have 30 days from the date your order is shipped to request an exchange or return (conditions apply). Items must be unworn, unused, in original packaging, and have all tags attached.
A $30.00 re-stocking fee applies to exchanges and returns to help cover the costs of bringing premium stock into Australia. Where possible, this fee will be reduced to minimise your expense — just email your request and Jacky will do her best to help!
What items cannot be returned?
- Discounted, sale, and clearance items (final sale — see below)
- Dance shoes (some brands can be exchanged — please check individual product pages)
- Accessories, crystals, fabric, trimmings, underwear, and gift cards
- Special orders, wide fit/custom colour/made-to-measure dance shoes (e.g. Aida Dance Shoes)
Why are sale items final sale?
Since Dancewear For You absorbs your shipping cost within Australia on your initial order, we are unfortunately unable to accept returns or exchanges on sale, discounted, or clearance items. If you have any questions about sizing or fit before ordering, please contact Jacky — she's always happy to help you get the right size first time!
What if my item is faulty?
If an item is found to be faulty, a full refund or exchange will be offered with no re-stocking fee. Please email jacky@dancewearforyou.com.au before returning any items.
How do I request a return or exchange?

- After receiving approval, send your item to: Dancewear For You, Western Australia (email for full address)
- Please use a trackable shipping service, especially for items valued over $100

I'm in Perth — can I collect my order in person?
Yes! Perth dancers can arrange a personal Click & Collect with Jacky and save on your order. Contact Jacky directly for your special Click & Collect price — you'll get discounted pricing, express service, and the bonus of trying things on and getting personal styling advice!

💳 Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfer. All payments are processed securely through Shopify's payment system.
Do you offer lay-by?
Yes! Lay-by is available — simply contact Jacky directly to arrange a personalised lay-by plan that suits your budget. Email Jacky or message on WhatsApp to get started.
📏 Sizing & Fit
How do I know what size to order?
Size charts are provided on every individual product page — we strongly recommend checking these carefully before ordering as dancewear sizing can vary significantly between brands. If you're unsure, please contact Jacky before ordering — a second opinion and years of experience can save you a lot of hassle! We'll be adding dedicated sizing guides and measurement advice pages to the website soon, so watch this space.
What if my item doesn't fit?
Please refer to our returns & exchanges policy above. The best way to avoid sizing issues is to check the size chart carefully and contact Jacky if you're unsure — she's helped hundreds of dancers find their perfect fit!

Do you stock crystals for dancewear?
Yes! Dancewear For You has access to some of the world's top quality crystals — including Preciosa crystals in all sizes and colours — even if they are not individually listed on the website. Simply email your crystal wish list to jacky@dancewearforyou.com.au for a personal order and quote. Whether you need crystals for a competition gown, practice wear, or accessories, we can source them for you at the best possible price!

What if I find the same item cheaper elsewhere?
Please let Jacky know! If you find any identical item cheaper on another genuine site, convert the price to AUD, add postage, and if the total delivered price to your door is lower than our price — contact Jacky and she will always do her best to match or beat it.
