Shipping & Returns
At Dancewear For You I pride myself on my commitment to quality and personal service. Your custom is important to me. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, please contact me immediately and I will do my best to help, in line with standard returns and exchanges policy below.
Domestic Australian Shipping rates are already calculated for you, but please drop me a line with any questions or concerns. International Shipping rates are normally automatically calculated at checkout, however, we do invite all our customers to email your shopping list to us so we can personally calculate the best possible shipping rate for you. Remember, purchasing multiple items by one designer often attracts great discounts for you so simply send an email with your dancewear wish list for an accurate discounted price delivered to your door.
Shipping times will vary depending on whether your item is in stock here in Perth, if your item needs to be posted from the designer, or perhaps your item needs to be produced. Tonnes of popular items/sizes are always held in stock. Items which are out of stock here will be immediately sourced for you using the fastest possible method and we will be in touch with updates.

Whilst many basic and popular items are always held in stock, with over 2000 products available, plus items sourced from couture and boutique designers (who do not mass produce), many items may need to be produced once your order is confirmed. Please note that this is always done as quickly as possible and of course I will be in touch to keep you updated on progress.
When checking out, please select the shipping option most suitable for you. Dancewear For You uses Australia Post for most deliveries, adding tracking to all our packages but we cannot guarantee the services of Australia Post or any courier, so you may wish to consider choosing the insured shipping options. Drop me a line with any questions.
No refunds can be given on shipping. I cannot offer guarantees on delivery dates but I can offer an estimate based on previous shipments. If delivery has been 'attempted' or you have failed to collect your package once it arrives at your local depot and the shipment is returned to me, I cannot refund your order or the shipping costs. The item will be re-sent to you, with extra shipping costs at your expense.
The shipping costs incurred to re-ship the order, will be at your expense. You will always receive an email with your tracking number so please keep an eye on your in-box and also your junk folder for Dancewear For You updates on your order status. We are not responsible to monitoring your tracking number once the package is on the way to you. We provide the best possible shipping method with tracking and once the tracking number is provided to you, please ensure that you monitor your delivery to ensure the package is not returned to sender.
Returns / Exchanges
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your order was shipped to you, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
All refunds are for merchandise only. All shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. International orders will be charged full shipping rates on all exchanges.
All returns and exchanges carry a $50.00 re-stocking fee, except where the item is found to be faulty. Please note this re-stocking fee is only charged to partly cover my expenses to ship stock to Australia from around the world. I guarantee that the re-stocking fee from Dancewear For You is less than if you are exchanging via other similar online businesses. This re-stocking fee will always be reduced if expenses to Dancewear For You are less.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with tags attached. Items will be checked to ensure they are clean, unworn and un-damaged.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Dance Shoes, accessories & tan, jewellery and discounted items cannot be returned. Some Dance shoes can be exchanged - see the product page for info. Please read your product description carefully as special order items and clearance items cannot be exchanges or returned.
Please do not send your item back to Dancewear For You without sending an email first. Of course, any items found to be faulty will happily be refunded or exchanged. Dance Shoes cannot be returned. Sale and discounted items cannot be exchanged or returned. Please do not ask for a discount and then request an exchange or refund unless you are prepared to pay the full retail price plus shipping & re-stocking expenses. Fabrics, Trimmings, Crystals, Accessories and underwear cannot be returned or exchanged.
Additional non-returnable items:
Gift cards. Underwear. Accessories. Some Dance Shoes. Wide Fit, Special Order, Custom Colour Dance Shoes. Special order/custom items. Made to measure items. Premium Made To Order items.
Aida Dance Shoes cannot be returned or exchanged.
Exchanges of Dance shoes (only certain brands and not special order, special fitting etc) will only be accepted if shoes are unworn and undamaged and carefully re-wrapped for shipping. I suggest to try your shoes on a carpeted clean floor.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer unless instructed by Dancewear For You.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Please note that re-stocking fees are only charged to cover the stocking/shipping expenses of Dancewear For You and wherever possible, your exchange item/re-stocking fee will be reduced to limit any out of pocket expense for you. Due to regular bulk shipments from all around the world, purchasing AND exchanging online purchases should ALWAYS be cheaper with Dancewear For You.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. PLEASE ENSURE when exchanging/returning items you always use shipping with tracking.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be exchanged or refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We always replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com and ONCE WE HAVE CONFIRMED YOUR EXCHANGE you can send your item to us. Sometimes, we will instruct you to return your item direct to the designer to save you time and postage costs, so please check with us before posting.
To return your product, you should EMAIL US FIRST and then mail your product to: 16A Nisbet Road Applecross Western Australia AU 6153, unless we advise you to send direct to another supplier/location.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
